Coronavirus Emergency Appeal

Coronavirus Emergency Appeal

URGENT: COVID-19 has made inroads in two of the most populous Pacific Island nations – Fiji and Papua New Guinea.

We are on the ground in Fiji, Papua New Guinea as well as India and some of the world's poorest countries, like Bangladesh and Nepal. We're:

  • helping hospitals get oxygen tanks and other medical equipment,
  • distributing essential hygiene equipment,
  • providing emergency food and cash assistance to households,
  • upgrading water and sanitation systems at refugee camps and health facilities,
  • continuing hygiene training and awareness-raising activities.

Unchecked, COVID-19 could leave half the global population in poverty. We’re doing everything we can — but we urgently need your help to do more.

Note: Should funds raised exceed the amount required to meet the immediate and longer term needs of the people in the affected areas, we will direct donations to our International Crisis Fund to enable us to rapidly address emergencies as they occur.View our Privacy Policy
